Most social media advice is written for creators, not experts. Creators chase reach; experts need trust. Teachers, mentors, coaches, and doctors sell outcomes that take time to deliver, so their content must show depth, not just personality.
I use three pillars: patient-or-student questions, opinionated takes on your field, and proof-of-work stories. Questions attract search; opinions build authority; stories make it believable.
The format matters less than the consistency. A LinkedIn article every two weeks plus two short posts per week will outperform a burst of daily content followed by silence.
Engagement is part of the strategy. I spend 15 minutes a day replying to comments and DMs for each client, because those conversations are where consultations, enrollments, and referrals start.
If you only measure likes, you will optimize for the wrong audience. Track profile visits, DMs, and booked calls. That is where the business lives.
